I am originally from Katihar and have been residing in Araria since 2010. My journey in the social sector began in 2010 with Jan Jagran Shakti Sangathan, where I spent nearly a decade organizing communities and advocating for their rights.
In July 2021, I joined Project Potential organization for 18 months. Inspired by my experiences, I co-founded the Aatmvishwas Foundation in July 2022 in Amgachhi Panchayat, Sikti block, Araria district. Our Aatmvishwas Center provides free education and fosters youth development.
Concurrently, I completed my graduation and plan to pursue a Master of
Social Work. Through the Aatmvishwas Foundation, I aim to drive positive change in
society.
I'm working directly at the grassroots level with our beneficiaries, including
children, youth, and senior citizens.

I was born and raised in the culturally vibrant town of Kishanganj, Bihar, where I completed my schooling. My journey transformed when I became an alumna of two NGOs, Project Potential and Navgurukul Organisation, positively impacting me, my family, and my community.
Inspired by the social workers who transformed my life, I became a self-taught Software Engineer with five years of experience. I now use my professional skills to give back and uplift my community.
I've always had a passion for the social sector and a strong interest in women's empowerment. Even with my career as a software engineer, I remain actively involved in empowering marginalized communities.

When asked to describe himself, Manas often jokes that he could take hours! Not because he is a narcissist—far from it—but because he is an extremely talkative person who has spent years in deep self-introspection. His life journey, ideals, and love for a variety of activities, especially for his nation, make for a story worth telling.
Manas first met Vijay Paswan, the founder of Aatmvishwas Foundation, during a rural immersion program in Kutch. Instantly drawn to Vijay Bhaiya’s simplicity and his dedication to grassroots change, Manas knew he had found a mentor and a friend. Over the years, their bond grew stronger, and when Vijay Ji invited him to become the co-founder of Aatmvishwas, Manas didn’t hesitate—he knew this was where he belonged.
Today, while pursuing his education through a distance-learning university, Manas is fully committed to supporting Aatmvishwas Foundation in every possible way, striving to create a meaningful impact alongside the team.
